The ability of glazed lava to withstand constant & intense heat has led to its use as fireplaces, hearths & back panels. The stone is completely non-combustible & will not give off toxic fumes, melt or distort having already passed these stringent tests during the production process during which it reaches temperatures of 1000 degrees plus. It provides a perfect centre piece to every style of room from the traditional “Victorian” fire surround, cladding for the barbeque chimney or as panels for the alcove. Choose from a selection of satin matt, glossy or metallic finishes in every colour.
